If you've been watching my Youtube channel for awhile, you'll know that I am obsessed with a good cup of joe. In fact, I can't function without having a cup of coffee first. That saying "but first, coffee" is near and dear to my heart.
When the weather gets cold, I like to indulge in a more decadent cup of coffee, so I came up with 3 fall latte ideas inspired by flavor combos that I love!
The first is a caramel apple latte. I often seen caramel apple tea or cider, but never a latte. Don't get me wrong, I love teas but I also need that extra caffeine boost that only an espresso shot could do. When I first tinkered with this idea, I mixed apple cider with milk and the milk completely curdled up. Yuck! So I decided to thicken the apple cider and turn it into a syrup, infused with all of the delicious fall spices. It totally worked!! Better yet, a little syrup goes a long way and I was able to make enought to last me the entire week. Win, win!
The next one is a Cranberry White chocolate latte. This was inspired by the Cranberry bliss bar from Starbucks. The cranberry has a tartness that really cuts down the sweetness of the white chocolate sauce. I like white chocolate, but sometimes it can be too sweet for me. This totally works.
Finally, I have a classic peanut butter cup latte - inspired the Reese's PB cup, of course! There's a mixture of natural peanut butter, cocoa powder, and espresso topped creamy whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate. This one is like a dessert in a cup!
Here is the full recipe and video tutorial below! They're soooo easy to make and totally worth the extra effort!! Comment below if you made any and let me know which is your favorite! Happy Fall. :)
