Odang Udon's "City Bowl" - fresh noodles, chopped Bulgogi, kimchi, cucumber, egg, secret sauce
I grew up on noodles. All shapes and sizes. And nothing beats chewy, even "bouncy" freshly cut, thick and filling Udon noodles! Matt and Ben from Odang Udon, a new food trailer at the SOMA StrEat Food Park in San Francisco, have perfected the historic Japanese Udon noodle to the point that it can stand on its own under a variety of fusion-istic toppings, like their popular "City Bowl" (think a Korean Bibimpap, noodles replacing the rice), or even a "Curry Udon." They also serve amazing sides like Tempura, Spring Rolls, and Fried Chicken.
Check out the video below to see how they artfully make these noodles and then scroll down for an exciting announcement! And follow Odang Udon on Instagram.
And the HUGE announcement - we are hosting a Meetup at the Odang Udon Food Trailer!!! Come by and visit Ben, Matt, and I for a fresh bowl of Udon on Sunday August 23rd, 12-2pm, at the SOMA StrEat Food Park428 11th St. in SOMA, San Francisco. The first 50 people to come and mention "Honeysuckle" will receive a free bowl!
So excited for more Udon noodles! Hope to see you there!!! Sunday Aug. 23 at the SOMA StrEat Food Park.
