Thanksgiving is almost here and it’s one of my favorite holidays of the year. It’s a special time when friends from near and far come back into town to celebrate with their loved ones. One of my Fall traditions is to have a Friendsgiving dinner, where a few friends all chip in our talents to create a dinner experience that we’ll remember warmly.
Lauren is an amazing landscape and floral designer and helped create the floral centerpiece. Charlotte is an interior designer and has a keen eye for details. Andrea is a travel editor full of amazing recommendations for places to visit.
So with all of our unique talents we set this outdoor table to enjoy our Friendsgiving dinner.
Our other friends Kacey & Yo, Matt, and Andrew also came to the table, each bringing a special dish that they wanted to share. And Ollie had a great time being off leash and exploring the forest behind us.
So let’s get to our feast. We had a roasted pork loin with parsnips and carrots, a butternut squash galette, roasted veggie cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, kale persimmon pomegranate salad, and a pomegranate chocolate tart.
Everything was hearty and delicious and we left stomachs and hearts full.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on what we have and to be thankful for these blessings. I’m thankful for the opportunity to share my passion for food and family and for having such a special and supportive community with you guys.
Thank you so much for always giving me your honest feedback and for encouraging me to continue chasing my dreams. I wish you a warm and happy Thanksgiving filled with love with your friends and family. Byebye!
