Saratoga in the Rain

Saratoga is a dreamy place in the Bay Area that I often visit when we go back to NorCal. The downtown is super charming with tree lined sidewalks that’s especially beautiful during the fall when the leaves change color.

We went back for Thanksgiving (yes, this post is a bit overdue, but better late than never) and on this rainy day, Nate and I snuck out for a quick “date”. It was so nice to be able to drop Erisy off with my mom and sister so we could have a little bit of a break. Erisy loves going to my sister’s house because of they have 4 kids and the youngest is only 7 months older. They act like sisters, fighting over my mom and toys.

Nate and I ended up in the Santa Cruz Mountains and decided to go to Savannah Chanelle winery to hang out for a bit. They specialize in pinot noirs that is fairly dry and delicious. We grabbed a few bottles for gifts knowing that they don’t have any distributors. If you’re ever in the area, make sure this is part of your plans. On a beautiful sunny day, you could venture into the vineyards that’s on a hill overlooking the mountains. It’s the most beautiful scenery ever, even on a rainy day where we were able to sneak this photo in before getting completely soaked. YOLO.
