Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Larb is Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps! Let’s make some! If you love Vietnamese Spring Rolls, you’ll love this recipe, especially during the summertime.


1 lb ground turkey thighs
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp toasted rice powder
2-3 tsp fish sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
juice of half a lime
2 tbsp each of mint, Thai basil, cilantro, green onions, chopped
lettuce
purple cabbage, shredded
carrots, shredded

  1. In a pan on medium-high heat, add oil and garlic cloves. Cook for 2 minutes and add ground turkey and salt and pepper. Cook until done, about 5-7 minutes. Be sure to crumble it up so you get small pieces. Turn off heat and transfer to a large bowl to cool slightly.

  2. When turkey has slightly cooled, add 2 tsps toasted rice powder, 2-3 tsps of fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and all of the chopped herbs.

  3. Mix well and transfer to a platter with purple cabbage and carrots. Mix well and squeeze lime and another tsp of fish sauce to serve (optional).

  4. Scoop the filling in a lettuce cup and enjoy!
